An Assyrian (Church of the East) bishop with two deacons and a servant, in embroidered mountain dress and felt hats, two of them armed, photographed against a mud wall. The Illustrated London News printed it in August 1933 under "The Assyrian trouble in Iraq", describing them on a preaching circuit among dispersed Nestorian communities.
