A refugee archdeacon and a boy, 1916

Date: 1916

An elderly bearded archdeacon in a white headcloth and a torn, patched coat stands holding the hand of a young boy. Published in 1916 in Rockwell's account of the Assyrian refugees in Persia; he was likely a Church of the East cleric from Hakkari.
