Studio cabinet portrait of the priest Oraha Shikwana, seated with a book, and his young son Ishaq standing beside him. The Shikwana family of Alqosh were a long line of manuscript scribes; the mount carries a line of Syriac script and the stamp of the Saffarian brothers' studio.
