Date
1921

Group portrait of Assyrian men, women and children in the United States, captioned "Americans of Assyrian lineage" in a 1921 Episcopal Church study of immigrant communities. The accompanying text says some of the group were college graduates, one a graduate of the General Theological Seminary who had represented Mar Shimun for Assyrian and Armenian relief, and that the little girl in front had escaped from the Turks and reached her parents in America after many months.
