The Syriac Press, New York: Linotype brochure cover, after 1918
Colour illustration of a bearded figure in ancient Assyrian dress guiding a young scribe at a writing table, above the Syriac and English name "The Syriac Press, 382 Lafayette Street, New York", with a note that the illustration was reprinted by courtesy of the Mergenthaler Linotype Company; a handwritten note reads "From Mr Jacobs, Linotype". The brochure announces Linotype Syriac faces (Estrangela, Nestorian and Jacobite) and the press's aim to print ancient and modern Syriac literature. It is undated; the text refers to the Great War, so it is after 1918, likely the 1920s.
