Assyrian priest with armed deacons at Jerwan
A bearded priest wearing a pectoral cross, holding a cigarette, stands between men in felt caps, embroidered vests and bandoliers, one with a rifle. The caption identifies the men as his deacons at Jerwan; the photo is likely from the Oriental Institute's 1933 work at the Jerwan aqueduct.
